Lamar is a very sweet boy who was hit by a van on the service road of I-30. Lucky for him he was hit right in front of one of our volunteers workplace. She took him to the vet and because of his sweet nature and temperament got him all fixed up. He had a broken leg and had road rash. Now his leg is healed, he has a few scars but he is ready for his forever home. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm preventative. He is crate trained, doggie door trained and housebroken (he had a few accidents, but doing much better now). He is around 1 1/2 yrs old and he loves everyone he meets. He likes other dogs and seems to do ok with cats too. He really is an all-American dog. He is in a chewing stage, but he is still a puppy. He will make a great companion for any family. Because he is considered a "pit bull" mix, please check with your city before applying for him.

DRAKE is the last of a large litter and looking for his forever homes! He is now about 2 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. This boy has been completely vetted, including neuter and rabies shot. He had a pretty rough start in life, but has blossomed into a wonderful young dog. Drake is crate trained and house trained. We believe his breed is coonhound/Rottweiller. Ronin was an abandoned black male lab about 2-3 years old that was found in Southeast Arkansas. When he was found, he had a chain around his neck and was starving. Because he didn’t have a collar, the chain had worn through his skin. A nice family took him in, but do not have enough time to dedicate to him. He’s very affectionate, but he doesn’t get as much play and exercise that he needs. He has been through obedience training and he responds to basic commands and is lease trained. He has been neutered and up to date on all shots and on heartworm, flea and tick preventative.

Koda, is such a star, she has to wear shades!!! This beautiful girl is a tri-colored Shepherd/Rotweiller mix under one year of age. She has a beautiful thick coat and such pretty markings. Koda gets along wonderful with other dogs and seems to do well with cats also. She is playful and affectionate and wants to please you. 4-13-08- Skittles is a 3 week old Cattle Dog/Aussie mix (these pictures were taken of her at about 10 days old). She will be ready for to go to her new home in about 4-6 weeks. Skittle's Mother was not taking care of her so, she was surrendered to rescue and is being bottle fed. She will probably be 40-50 lbs when grown. It's hard to tell much about her personality right now but, her parentage suggests she will be an active, playful, intelligent girl. We are accepting applications on Skittles now.

Oh my, what a soulful face this pretty girl has! Patty Pat is a very sweet 4 month old puppy that will be around 70 to 80 pounds when full grown. We believe she is a shepherd mixed with some hound and has a beautiful fawn colored coat. She is a happy and playful girl that just wants to be loved and given attention. She was rescued from a home that offered her no food, water or shelter and she is very grateful to finally be taken care of and have some love and attention. Patty Pat is up to date on shots and is doing well on crate training and housebreaking. Adoption fee covers full vetting (including spay).

This wonderful family dog loves her people and would be a great new member to just about any family. Daisy gets along well with most dogs, but she had prefer to be the "boss" (you know how woman are!) Daisy is doggie-door training and she is housetrained She's as smart as she is pretty!
