Is this dog alive?

Many of our foster animals were rescued from "death row" at the Little Rock Animal Shelter. But every year, THOUSANDS of beautiful, healthy dogs and cats ARE KILLED, then INCINERATED there. THOUSANDS! This beautiful dog, photographed by former Democrat-Gazette photographer and volunteer Ellen Brownlee, may or may not have been rescued. Our group rescues and tries to place as many as we can; but it's not enough and in 1999 5,050 INNOCENT PETS WERE EUTHANIZED THEN INCINERATED AT LRAS!

Remember, you can adopt directly from the Little Rock Animal Services (LRAS) by calling (501) 376-3067 or by visiting them at Interstate Park off Arch Street. If you know of someone interested in a dog, cat, puppy or kitten -- PLEASE send them to us or straight to LRAS!!  The animals there are wonderful, but they don't have a lot of time.  To see the animals available at LRAS now CLICK HERE!
