BRANDON

URGENT! This young man
was found as a stray wandering the streets, tick infested, scared to
death, and starving. He is only about 6 months old, and is very sweet.
The kind folks who found him are not able to keep him, and I don’t
know what his future will hold if a home is not found soon. He deserves
a chance at life where he will not have to worry about human cruelty,
being struck by a car, or if he will be able to find another meal.
Because he is so young, he still very moldable. He shows absolutely no
signs of aggression toward people or other animals. He just needs
someone to give his love to. If that person is you, please call me at
501-303-8185 or email shortychey@hotmail.com
McKENZIE
This is McKenzie. She is
a 2 year old Pit Bull mix. She was adopted as a puppy from a shelter in
Oklahoma. Her owner loves her very much but has joined the military and
is being deployed. Since he does not know how long he will be away, and
there is no family that can keep her, he is desperately trying to find
her a new forever home. McKenzie has been spayed, current on
vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventative.
McKenzie is the Alpha female, therefore, she would do best in a home
where she can be the only dog or at least be the dominant dog. She has
never been around children, so we don’t know how well she would do
with little ones. She currently lives outside, but has lived indoors and
did very well. We would prefer that she be an indoor dog, because she
craves human companionship, but we would consider an outside home if the
conditions were right. McKenzie also should go to a home without cats.
While she’s never had the opportunity to harm one, she does bark every
time she sees one. McKenzie is extremely affectionate, and also
protective of the one(s) she is attached to. If you have the very
special home that this beautiful girl is searching for, please call
Kelley at 501-303-8185 or email shortychey@hotmail.com
WELLINGTON
 Wellington
is a 15 month old male blue heeler
who appears to be either purebred or close to purebred. He has
been neutered and given his shots. He is being treated for anemia
due to hookworms and he also has a skin problem. He does not have mange
but he will require a bath in Selsun Blue once a week for the next four
weeks for his skin condition. He is
heartworm positive but he will be treated once he is built back up from
being anemic. The vet expects a full recovery.
Wellington has an excellent disposition. He has not shown any
aggressiveness at all. He gets along well with people and other
animals. He has not been exposed to children yet. He walks
well on a leash and appears to be very smart.. He is a little
scared and untrusting right now which is to be expected. He needs some
stability and will need a home where he gets lots of exercise.
Wellington is at the hospital right now, but will be going into foster
care the week of September 4. There will be a $100 adoption fee
for this handsome dog. To adopt, contact John Dugan,
501-987-5222 or on his cell phone at 993-3368

McGWIRE
&
LADY
We
got McGwire 6 years ago at the Humane Society. We
adopted Lady 5 years ago through Helping Hands. McGwire is 6 yrs
old.
Lady is about 7 years
old. They both have been wonderful dogs. McGwire is
house-trained and likes indoors and outdoors. Lady is
housetrained and she would make a perfect lap dog. She LOVES to be
held all day.
McGwire does a lot of
tricks. He sits, shakes, lays down, chases balls and is a lot of
fun.
We LOVE our dogs, but we are expecting
our third child in July. This will be 3 kids for us under 4 years
of age. We just don't give the dogs the attention they deserve.
The dogs get along TOGETHER great! We certainly would like
them placed in a good home, together if possible.
If you would be interested in adopting
these two dogs (separately or together), please contact Rick or Michelle
at 501-868-9858 (Little Rock).

DAISY

Daisy
was adopted from an animal shelter, but now her parents are moving and
she can't go! Poor Daisy! This chubby little beagle is a
great dog but now she needs to be rehomed. Her vet thinks she is
only about 4 years old ... so still a nice young dog. She's a bit timid (more
so around men than women and she's good with children - she has been
living with two three year old twins!) Daisy is
up to date on shots and has already been spayed. She would make a
great family pet (beagles are the best pets!) She does have that
beagle bark if she sees a rabbit ... but she's a good, laid back girl
who enjoys being in the great outdoors! She gets along well with
other dogs too ... there's just really nothing wrong with this dog
except she's a bit shy ... If you are interested in adopting Daisy,
please email jandjconstruction@msn.com
